We are now accepting applications for Zoo Camp 2010 which is scheduled for June 21-25. We are planning some great activities this year including animals shows, arts and crafts, animal activities and games so come join the fun!

Zoo Camp is divided into two groups:  Preschool children ages 3 to 5 in a half day session (9 am to 12 pm must be fully potty trained to participate) and elementary school age children, ages 5 to 11, in a full day session (9 am to 3:00 pm) conducted by licensed teachers and trained volunteers.  Children in both age groups will explore animal life at the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, meet our animal care-takers, and even greet some of our animal residents personally.  They will also participate in age-specific games, arts and crafts projects and special zoo-related events.  There will be plenty of hands-on educational and fun activities carried out in a safe and educational environment.
