Welcome to the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, Home of Animal Planet's The Little Zoo That Could

Kids Go Wild at Zoo Camp!

June 25-29, 2012

We have set the date for next summer's Zoo Camp! Details about pricing and registration will be posted as soon as we have all that information ready.

Zoo Camp is divided into two groups:  Preschool children ages 3 to 5 in a half day session (9 am to 12 pm must be fully potty trained to participate) and elementary school age children, ages 5 to 11, in a full day session (9 am to 3:00 pm) conducted by licensed teachers and trained volunteers.  Children in both age groups will explore animal life at the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, meet our animal care-takers, and even greet some of our animal residents personally.  They will also participate in age-specific games, arts and crafts projects and special zoo-related events.  There will be plenty of hands-on educational and fun activities carried out in a safe and educational environment.

Registration Information: Enrollment forms for Zoo Camp 2012 are not available yet but will be posted with dates and details in the coming months.

Applications will not be taken over the phone; they must be mailed in or delivered in person to the zoo.

For any questions, please contact Jennifer Floyd, Zoo Camp Coordinator, at 251-968-5732 or email jfloydzoo@yahoo.com.
