Meet our Lemurs in the
Destination: Madagascar Adventure
While visiting Destination: Madagascar, you are transported into the home of our black-and-white-ruffed lemurs and red-ruffed lemurs. You will have the opportunity to meet these unsual animals from the island of Madagascar, learn about their enviroment, and have the chance for one to sit in your lap! Did you know the ruffed lemurs are known as the worlds largest pollinators? Come join us at Destination: Madagascar to learn more about these critically endangered animals.
Each animal adventure ticket is $19.95 per person, plus a regular paid zoo admission. Tickets can be purchased in the park on the day of your visit. Minimum age 3 years old. Children under age 10 must be accompanied by a paying adult. No reservations are made. Adventures are done on a first come first serve basis. Masks are optional in ALL animal adventures.
What to Know
Guests are taken in throughout the day in 15 minute intervals. Groups of up to 4 people are taken into the adventure at one time. This keeper-supervised adventure is in a shaded, screened enclosure. However, we reserve the right to make last-minute decisions regarding the group visit to ensure that it’s a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests, our keepers, and most especially, our lemurs. Adventure area is handicap accessible. Service animals are not allowed in exhibit.
If the weather conditions are questionable, please call ahead to check if we are still selling tickets. Adventures are not available if there is lightening in the area or if it is storming.
