Tickets are now on sale for Art on the Wild Side: Wine & Whiskey Stroll, the annual spring fundraiser benefiting your local nonprofit Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo.

Guests (21+) are invited to enjoy an unforgettable evening on Saturday, March 28, 2026, strolling through the zoo while sampling fine wines, craft whiskeys, and gourmet bites surrounded by your favorite animal ambassadors. Guests will have the opportunity to meet animal ambassadors and experience animal training demonstrations.

Art on the Wild Side begins with an online auction on March 21, which includes one-of-a-kind, unique pieces of art created by the zoo animals. Whether painted with paws, claws, fur, footprints, or nose boops, each piece is a true masterpiece. The auction also includes vacation packages, golf outings, and more, generously donated by local businesses and community members.

As a local non-profit organization, the support from this event is critical to helping provide care and enrichment to the animals that call the zoo home. This includes fresh diets, healthcare, habitats that include climbing structures, perching, ropes, and more that keep each animal from the smallest hedgehog to the largest lion healthy, active and mentally engaged.

Your support also helps the zoo provide hands-on conservation education and programs throughout the community that continue the Zoo’s mission of connecting people of all ages with wildlife and encouraging them to protect the world around them.
