Tendo Update

Tendo is now bouncing around his outdoor habitat permanently, so be sure to spend some time watching him outside the reptile house! 

If you don’t spot him at first, listen closely and you’ll find him! This tiny guy makes a lot of different vocalizations, ranging from juvenile squeaks to adult whistles, and they all mean something special!

Cotton Top Tamarins make over 30 different vocalizations that they’ve been known to string together to communicate messages to each other, and they’re one of the only species of primate to do this!”
